What does a successful CO2 storage scheme look like?
Philip Ringrose and Mark Bentley are leading a three day, field-based seminar in Spain in September, covering the subsurface aspects of CO2 storage which need to be managed in order to make a scheme work successfully. This combines Phil’s experiences as project lead for CCS schemes in Norway and Algeria and Mark’s experiences with reservoir modelling and these Spanish outcrops in particular.
FindHeat (EU Horizon) – Iceland
Arndt Peterhänsel and Mark Bentley wrapping up in Iceland after a productive three-days at FindHeat (EU Horizon). Everything becomes a lot clearer, hotter and more tangible (singe – ouch!) when you are out in the geothermal field and discussing with colleagues in person. The Pressure Space modelled with Basin scale CCS studies: UK North Sea
We are delighted that Peter Rowbotham will be presenting a TRACS CCS talk at the upcoming EAGE Annual Conference in Toulouse EAGE Annual 2025. He will discuss projects carried out for the North Sea Transition Authority under the title “The Pressure Space modelled with Basin scale CCS studies: UK North Sea” by the TRACS team including Tim Wynn, Phil Rose, Ed Stephens, Christopher Tzinieris and Jackie Mullinor.
