In addition to the Basic Cement Bond Evaluation course, this advanced course covers cement bond acquisition strategy, use and evaluation of foam cement operations, remedial action, Micro-Annulus interpretation, double and triple casing environment interpretation, interpretation in deviated and horizontal wells, Fiber Optics environment, image rotation in PP software packages like IP or TechLog, advanced LQC and understanding of all parameters setting during the acquisition. Additionally, minimum barrier for well abandonment criteria, acquisition cost, advanced hardware selection and advanced reporting formats are covered.

At the end of this 2 day course, the participant will be able to justify the acquisition of a CBL, be actively involved in the planning, supervise the acquisition,  read the log, perform advanced QC and relate the data in context to the well- and completion type, and report the data in a format that enables a team to take a decision based on the acquired and interpreted data. Real data examples and exercises round up this course.
