The course is designed for commercial staff who find they need a better developed understanding of petro-technical terminology and issues to function more effectively in a multi-discipline oil and gas company environment.

The course was designed to ‘level the playing field’ for commercial staff covering essential terminology and technology, but as viewed from the end-user rather than the technical practitioner.
The aim is to give commercial staff the ‘questions to ask’ petro-technical teams and enable them to discuss petro-technical deliverables such as field performance forecasts with insight.
The course consists of five modules each of which cover one the following stages of an asset lifetime:
