The course is intended for Petrophysicists, Production Geologists, Reservoir Engineers, Well Engineers, staff of a subsurface team who are involved in the planning, execution and interpretation of formation pressure and formation fluid sampling acquisition.

Formation Pressure and Sample acquisition with logging tools are, amongst others, the most important reservoir properties with respect to development scenarios, well- and surface facility design.
This course covers all aspects of value of information (VOI), planning, execution, QC and interpretation of pressure and sample data. Downhole tool types, risk assessment, sensor physics, limitations and response in different mud and formation fluid type scenarios as well as interpretation are covered in detail. Exercises and may example round up this course.
At the end of this 2-day course, the participant will be able to justify the acquisition of pressure and sample data, be involved in the planning, read the data, perform QC and relate the data in context to the reservoir.
